1. Booking and Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation Charges: We reserve the right to charge in full for jobs that are cancelled on the day of loading either by the customer or due to incorrect information provided by the customer. This is to cover the costs associated with scheduling and dispatching our team and vehicles.
2. Payment Terms
- Payment Before Unloading: We reserve the right to request that payment is received in full and cleared before unloading is completed. This ensures that all financial transactions are settled promptly and avoids any disputes at the end of the service.
3. Customer Obligations
- Accurate Information: Customers are required to provide accurate and detailed information regarding the items to be moved, access conditions, and any other relevant details. Failure to provide correct information may result in additional charges or cancellation of the service.
- Accessibility: Customers must ensure that the loading and unloading locations are accessible and that any necessary permissions have been obtained. Any delays caused by inaccessibility may incur additional charges.
4. Liability and Insurance
- Goods in Transit: While we take every precaution to ensure the safety of your belongings, Express Movers cannot be held liable for any damage or loss of items during transit unless it is proven to be due to our negligence. We recommend that customers have adequate insurance coverage for their belongings.
- Excluded Items: Express Movers does not transport hazardous materials, perishable goods, or items prohibited by law. Customers must declare any high-value items prior to the move.
5. Service Limitations
- Weather and Unforeseen Events: Our services may be affected by severe weather conditions or other unforeseen events. In such cases, we will make every effort to reschedule the service at the earliest convenience.
- Service Scope: Our standard service includes loading, transportation, and unloading of items. Additional services such as packing, unpacking, and assembly may be available at an extra cost.
6. Dispute Resolution
- Complaints: Any complaints regarding our service must be reported to Express Movers within 24 hours of the job completion. We will investigate and address any issues promptly.
- Arbitration: In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved amicably, both parties agree to seek resolution through arbitration in accordance with the laws of Ireland.
